Alex Picone
Alex Picone, identifies as a person who stutters and has been involved with Camp Words Unspoken since 2023. He is passionate about empowering other people who stutter and advocating for the disability community. Alex has volunteered with various disability-related organizations and has been a speaker at past events for Best Buddies New York, MySpeech, and the World Stuttering Network.
Alex brings his background from the financial services industry, having previous experience as a leveraged finance investment banker in NYC and currently working as a paraplanner at IM Wealth Partners in PA. Alex graduated with summa cum laude at Temple University in 2022 and double majored in Finance and Accounting.
Since volunteering as a camp counselor for Camp Words Unspoken in 2023, Alex has been very excited to help grow the organization alongside the Towle Family to support children and teens who stutter around the country. In his free time, Alex enjoys exercising and spending time with his friends and family.
