Sheri Bayley

Sheri is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Coordinator of Speech-Language Pathology at Nevada State University in Henderson, NV. She has been a certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) for over 20 years and is a board-certified specialist in child language and autism researcher. Sheri teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on stuttering among other topics and supervises graduate students in the university speech-language clinic. Her goal is to prepare future SLPs to support the communication of neurodivergent individuals - including those on the autism spectrum and those who stutter - using a strengths-based approach. Sheri enjoys travel and cuddling animals - especially her cats, Sprinklz and Mwnci. Most mornings she does word puzzles and CrossFit, and every night before bed she reads for fun - usually books that take place in the United Kingdom. She grew up in Wisconsin but hates the cold and much prefers living in the hot and sunny desert of southern Nevada.
